I Rely on These 6 Staples Every Winter, and You Can Shop Them for Under $70

While some people are already talking about spring fashion, I walked outside for coffee today and my fingers almost went numb, so I'm sticking to discussing winter. Specifically, my winter staples. From extra-warm puffer jackets to leather separates, I rely on a few key pieces when the weather drops. I've gotten better at dressing for the freezing temps, but it didn't always start out that way. If you're in the same boat as I was, the pieces below will help you start perfecting your winter wardrobe.

I've been collecting my winter staples for years, but luckily for you our Who What Wear x Target collection has a variety of picks for you to choose from and shop now. If you're looking to upgrade your wardrobe this winter, look no further. Keep scrolling to check out my favorite winter pieces and how to shop them for under $70.

1. Easy Knitwear

When you're in a rush to get dressed, an sweater that's not only cozy but will pair with anything is what you'll be looking for.

2. Puffer Jackets

I used to be embarrassed by puffer jackets when I was younger, and now it's my favorite part about winter. If I could talk to my younger self, I'd tell her to get a puffer and enjoy that extra warmth.

3. Leather Separates

When the weather starts to drop, my leather pieces get a lot of love. Blazers, pants, jackets—all of it makes any outfit instantly chic.

4. Faux Fur

If it's fuzzy, I want it. In the winter all I want to do is cover myself with a blanket, and this is the closest thing that's also wearable.

5. Knit Dresses

When it comes to styling knit dresses, the options are endless. Take styling cues from Eliza and pair your dress with your favorite coat and tall boots.

6. Loungewear

It wouldn't be a story written by me if I didn't include loungewear. You'll feel like you're in pajamas but still look put together. It's a win-win situation.
