5 Easy-to-Wear Looks I Suggest You Copy ASAP
Sponsor Content Created With AG
Welcome to Weekday Wardrobe, a series in which one Who What Wear editor or staffer will snap a pic of the outfits they wear from Monday to Friday. We'll break down where you can shop it all to inspire your own everyday style, no matter what's on your weekly agenda.
Don't get me wrong: I love testing out all the trends that emerge from various runway shows (micro-minis, anyone?), but, I'm an elevated-basics girl through and through. My closet is filled with an unimaginable amount of jeans, every variation of a white tank, and don't even get me started on my black-dress collection. I'm always low-key on the lookout for additional easy-to-put-together pieces that I know will be staples in my rotation. Enter AG. The timeless Los Angeles brand is the blueprint for those premium pieces that you'll turn to again and again, and it's also a favorite among Who What Wear editors. Want proof? Keep scrolling for a week's worth of summer-to-fall 'fits from none other than our associate market editor, Yusra Siddiqui. From date-night outfits to comfortable office attire, these are looks you'll want to copy. See how she's styling the newest arrivals from the site.
Monday
"Even when going out, I like to keep things classic and pared back. It's a Monday, after all, but there's never a wrong time for a dinner date. Wide-leg, high-waisted jeans are flattering and just look fancier than a regular pair of boyfriend jeans. (I've never had jeans that fit this well.) With the addition of strappy heels, a gold chain, and a leather bag, I was ready to go for the night."
Tuesday
"Comfort is always a top priority for me, but that doesn't mean I can't style comfy items in an elevated manner, especially when I'm going into the office. This striped tee is incredibly soft, but I kept the look streamlined with dark-wash jeans, a sleek belt, and black heels."
Wednesday
"When in doubt, double denim is always a good idea. I love the look of an oversize denim jacket, and classic blue jeans are the best thing to pair with it. With the chilly summer days we're having, this is the perfect outfit for any daytime occasion, but I just happened to be on the way to Wednesday brunch (because there's always time for brunch). It just might be my favorite look of the week."
Thursday
"I never thought I'd be wearing a sweatshirt and leather pants in the summer, but the weather has taken me by surprise this season. On Thursdays, I'm already looking forward to the weekend, so this outfit was perfect for a tiring (and busy) workday. Both the sweatshirt and pants aren't too thick in material and look sleek while keeping me cozy."
Friday
"To celebrate the weekend, I put on a dress! It was a hotter day, but the dress and button-down helped me stay cool and look chic. This outfit was perfect for my post-work Friday stroll, and I can definitely see myself wearing this dress a lot this summer."
