The Spring Pieces Every Expectant Mother Should Have
If you’re expecting a new addition to your family in the coming months, congratulations! Pregnancy is a beautiful and exciting thing—and getting dressed for this chapter is, too. Shopping for spring maternity outfits can be a trying task, but it doesn’t have to be. We tapped Nasiba Adilova, co-founder of The Tot, for the latest trends that all expectant mothers are wearing this season.
“This spring, maternity style is all about being casually cute and majorly comfortable with a focus on warm tones, stripes, and simple florals,” she shares. According to Adilova, this season’s maternity clothes can be both dressed up and down—and when you’re expecting, practicality is a must.
Adilova is also seeing lots of smart wide-leg pants that’ll look perfect with a pair of sneakers or mules. As for dresses? “Think beachy, boho chic with draped maxi dresses that you’ll want to wear even when you’re not pregnant and short ‘bell-sleeved’ dresses with a flattering empire waistline,” she says.
