Your Old Lipstick Is Obsolete Thanks to This Game-Changing 3-in-1 Lip Set
Whether a bold, luscious lip or a toned-down matte is more your MO, I may have just found the perfect new collection for you that offers the best of both worlds. Meet Refy's new lip collection—a uniquely designed trio of items that are both functional and stunning when swiped on the lips. The entire collection consists of a lip liner, a setter to help it stay firmly in place, and a glossy topcoat to finish off the look. Luckily, our beauty team got to give the products a spin, and let me tell you they didn't disappoint.
I was already a huge fan of Refy and its other products. I absolutely swear by the brand's Cream Bronzer ($26) and Gloss Highlighter ($26), so you can imagine how excited I was to have the opportunity to try the collection. The founder of the brand, model Jess Hunt, says it was born simply because fans were constantly asking her what she did to create her gorgeous, everyday lip look. Her OG lip routine consisted of about five steps—this collection was a way to simplify that and share it with fans. "I really wanted to create two simple products that would allow everyone to enhance their own natural lip," she says. "One that would not only stay in place all day without reapplication but would give a high-shine finish with the benefits of a lip balm." As for her personal favorite shade ATM, that honor goes to Fawn. "Now that summer is coming and I’m more tanned, I’m loving the shade Fawn with the Refy gloss on top for a high-shine finish," she shares.
The shade range of the collection offers something for everyone—there are a few lighter, neutral colors and some darker colors that can easily transition into nightwear. For our beauty team's thoughts on the products and favorite shades, keep on scrolling. And act quickly—the products have been selling out left and right.

I won't lie to you all. It took me a second to figure out how to use this little contraption, but once I did, I loved the convenience of it. One end of the product contains the lip liner (which you apply to the lips first), while the other end has a cap that pops off to reveal the lush lip setter that goes atop the liner. Separately, there is a top gloss that can be used as a last step and pulls the whole look together. Honestly, I've never been huge on an overly glossy lip, so I could skip the top gloss if I wanted to, but I actually ended up loving how it adds the perfect amount of shine and dimension to the lips. You can also use as much or as little as you would like, and it still looks stunning.
Overall, I loved the shades Fawn, Taupe, and Rosewood the most for my skin tone. Taupe is this beige-brown hue that's perfect for everyday wear, and Fawn is a bit of a darker brown (with a hint of plum) that feels like a night-out shade to me. I'm picky about my pink shades of lipstick because it's hard to find *the* rosy hue that complements my makeup without taking attention away from the rest of the look. Rosewood does this nicely. Interestingly enough, Hunt herself doesn't even fill in her lips entirely with the liner most days; she just lightly outlines the edges of her lips and applies the gloss. I actually preferred to use the liner over the entirety of my lips and add the setter and gloss on top for a fuller look. What's great is that both look phenomenal, so it really is such a versatile collection.

"Okay, where has this lip collection been all of my life?! There are so many things to love that make this launch interesting and unique compared to everything else that's happening on the lip market right now. First of all, I like how there are three colors with pink undertones and three with brown. Due to my undertones and preference, I gravitate toward pinks, so this really takes some of the guesswork out of choosing your best shades and helped me narrow down which hues I wanted to zero in on. (Spoiler: They're all divine, but Rosewood is just IT for me.)
"The consistency is really creamy and blendable, and when you rub your lips together, you get this amazing dimension. But that's not all! The brand really outdid itself by adding the world's first lip-setting formula right on the other side of the pen! So not only do your lips look amazing, but the effect stays dewy and smudge-proof. The cherry on top? You also get a high-shine balm/gloss hybrid that's the antithesis of sticky and really pushes the whole lip effect to new levels. I'm obsessed, and this collection makes my old lipsticks and liners feel kind of obsolete."

"This is such a different and innovative product! I like that the color component is essentially just a lip liner, so it's long-wearing while still being comfortable. The setter really makes the pigment stay in place, and the gloss you put on top isn't exactly shiny in the sense of a traditional lip gloss—it just makes lips look hydrated and plump. I'm really impressed by how much the color doesn't budge—I had to use both a milk cleanser and a cleansing oil to get it off. I think this is a really great product for a night out or a day where you'll be putting a mask on and off."
