Miranda Kerr wed Snapchat founder and CEO Evan Spiegel on May 27. Since the intimate ceremony, we've been left in the dark about what the bride wore but could rest assured that her choice would be a stunning selection. Today, Kerr finally revealed her gorgeous wedding gown in an exclusive shoot for Vogue shot by Patrick Demarchelier. The full spread will appear in the magazine's August 2017 issue but a few teaser photos were released online today.
According to Vogue, Kerr has been dreaming of a dress inspired by Grace Kelly's iconic 1956 wedding gown since she first became engaged to Spiegel last July. That same month, Maria Grazia Chiuri took the helm at Dior as its new creative director. "I think it's every girl's dream to have Dior design her wedding dress," Kerr admitted to Vogue. "I thought, if she's up for it, I'm up for it." It wasn't long before Kerr was collaborating with Chiuri to design her dream dress. Kerr opted for a modest silhouette, noting that "a dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery." Chiuri says Kerr "wanted something like a fairy tale, and she gave me this idea, to make a dress that was emotional and simple at the same time."
