After struggling with health issues and having few resources to turn to, Lo Bosworth knew she had to take matters into her own hands. So she did. She created Love Wellness, a personalcare brand built on a simple idea—to help women care for themselves in the best way possible. "I started Love Wellness because there wasn't any innovation in the personalcare space happening back in 2015, 2016 that better addressed my combined gut and vaginal health issues. The gut and vagina are on the same axis, so problems with one typically explain an issue with the other," she says. "I had to go to so many different doctors to finally understand my gut health played a huge role in vaginal health, and virtually no company was making women's wellness products that took a simple but effective approach with probiotics, boric acid suppositories, and personal hygiene products made without ingredients that can cause chronic health issues like UTIs and yeast infections."

As she puts it, "what we have been taught about how to take care of our bodies isn't always the safest or healthiest approach." That's why she created a set of strict standards for every product to meet. "Eliminating certain products like douches is common knowledge now, but did you know the fragrance in your bar soap can be responsible for vaginal health issues as well?" she asks. "It's those tidbits that we incorporate into our product development to make the safest, most effective personalcare products available for women."

Bosworth's personal routine speaks to her passion for wellness. "I take a very long walk almost every day before or after work or at the office on my under-the-desk treadmill. I like to run home the last 10 minutes of my journey to get my heart rate up and endorphins flowing, but not so long that it ventures into high-impact cardio that ultimately can be detrimental to women's health and bodies," she says. "I love doing wall Pilates for 15 to 20 minutes. I take my Love Wellness daily probiotics and vitamins with a big glass of water, and I always try to eat a high-protein/low-carb breakfast. My favorite is full-fat Good Culture cottage cheese with tomatoes and cucumbers."

Bosworth's beauty routine is just as consciously curated as her wellness routine. She says she has an innate love for beauty, and past struggles with acne have made her learn more about skin. Bosworth says she went through three rounds of Accutane in high school and college. "I've always been interested in cosmetics, nail polish, skincare, and treatments since I was a very young girl," she says. "I started mixing up my own eye shadow colors from powders and pigments I had on hand with some Vaseline or other base to get creative, all before middle school. Growing up, I would paint my nails incessantly—sometimes changing the color two or three times a week. I rarely get professional manicures because I'm so good at doing them myself at this point." Ahead, see the 14 beauty and wellness products that make her feel her very best.
