Without a Doubt, These Are the 10 It Coats of 2019 So Far
The seasons have shifted, and temperatures have dropped. That’s right—it’s time to start thinking about a winter coat. While others might be considering investing in Ganni’s latest It knit or that dress from Rixo, I’m turning my attention straight to outerwear. This is because the best coats have already arrived and will sell out at great speed. I know firsthand that nothing haunts you like the clothing you didn’t buy, and I don’t intend on making the same mistake when it comes to my coats this year.
Below, you'll find 10 beautiful coats, all of which we've have already been given the seal of approval by my fashionable friends. The best part is that even though they're proving incredibly popular, they're all still in stock (for now). From the latest offering from cult brand House of Sunny to the Kitri cover-up that gives the term "glamour" a whole new meaning, as well a Raey number that’s guaranteed to appease even the most pared-back minimalist, keep scrolling to see the biggest It coats of 2019.
Statement yet unexpectedly versatile, it's little wonder that Warehouse's rust checked coat has won over the likes of Monikh Dale, Chloe Plumstead and Karina Marriott.
The most expensive coat on our list by a mile. It seems, however, that people aren't deterred by its four-figure price tag. With its buttery soft leather texture, chic belt detailing and luxe padded finish, we think it's worth every penny.
A rain mac might not sound like the chicest coat put there, but when it boasts a bold leopard print in muted tones, it's the height of sophistication.
Just about everyone in the Who What Wear office has a Kitri coat on their wish list, though the Brit brand's Ava style is easily the most popular.
You'll be hard-pressed to find a coat that's more timeless than this H&M houndstooth option. The oversized fit and wide lapels give it a could-be-vintage quality.
If you told us we'd be coveting a mint-green coat with a faux-leather finish and sheepskin cuffs and collar, we probably wouldn't have believed you, but this House of Sunny coat is by far one of our favourites this season.
J.W. Anderson's checked trench is the most in-demand item of 2019, and it's not hard to see why. Recently restocked at Net-a-Porter, we guarantee it won't hang around for long…
Known for its vegan leather outerwear, Nanushka has turned a new leaf for autumn/winter 2019 with this felt coat in the prettiest shade of purple. Needless to say, it's already proving a hit with those in the know.
Calling all minimalists: Alexis Foreman has found the perfect coat for you in the form of this creamy, woollen dream.
Frugal it may be, but trust us when we say that no one will guess you snapped up this sleek checked coat from ASOS.
