Irina Shayk Wore a Sheer Maxi Dress With Bikini Bottoms to the Miami Grand Prix
More and more celebrities flock to Formula One races each year, with the Miami Grand Prix, which took place this weekend, among the season's most popular events. Over the three-day event, celebrities like A$AP Rocky, Madelyn Cline, Roger Federer, and Emily Ratajkowski all made their way to the Miami International Autodrome in their best race-day attire. But the celeb with the most interesting and unexpected take on F1 style was, without a shadow of a doubt, Irina Shayk.
On Sunday, Shayk shared several photos with her 21.8 million Instagram followers with the caption "F1" followed by a black heart emoji. In them, the supermodel can be seen roaming the F1 paddock alongside former Burberry Creative Director Riccardo Tisci and model Stella Maxwell while wearing the opposite of proper racing attire. By that, I mean she chose to layer a completely sheer tank dress over a cropped white tee and bikini bottoms, finishing the ensemble with Nike tube socks and pointed-toe slingbacks. Shayk added a black baseball cap and a chic pair of oval sunglasses for some much-needed sun protection.
Shayk's outfit, which prioritized style over utility in almost every way, only shows how the relationship between fashion and F1 is growing at a pace that can only be compared to the actual cars on track. Scroll down for photographic proof. And while you're at it, shop the sheer-dress trend before the next race.
