In just a few short weeks, the season of holiday gift-giving will arrive, so I’m taking it upon myself to drop some hints about exactly which items are on the top of my list right now. In short, it’s brimming with everything from luxe investment items to everyday basics that I need to replenish in my wardrobe and everything in between.

The list starts out with Chanel’s cool sneakers that I know would quickly become an off-duty essential. Can you imagine anything cooler to wear on the weekend? I certainly can’t. It also includes elevated staples like cashmere sweatpants that are destined for an airport outfit, basic tops to pair with denim, and a winter coat so perfect it has been sitting in my shopping cart for weeks. Ahead, see my editor-approved holiday gift picks and perhaps shop them for yourself.
