Heidi Klum Responds to People Who Say She's Too Old to Model
Heidi Klum wants to make one thing clear: She isn't too old to model lingerie (or anything, for that matter). In fact, in a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Klum responded to the criticism she's received for modeling her own lingerie line, Heidi Klum Intimates, at her age.
"Sometimes people say, 'You know you're 44, you're turning 45, why are you not giving the baton to someone else?'" Klum shared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "But I always think, you know there's a lot of women my age, 50, 60, 70, what, do we have an expiration date, can we not also still feel sexy?" At that point, the audience erupted in applause because Klum made a very powerful point. But she didn't stop there.
"And why do we always have to see 20- or 30-year-olds … in campaigns, but why can't an older woman be in [one]?" she added, ending with, "I'm still doing it." And of course, Ellen responded in the most hilarious way—watch the full clip below to hear it.
