No one wants to have to deal with returning something. Sure, the refund in your bank account is nice, but the disappointment and hassle? Not so much. As someone who makes the vast majority of my purchases online and hates making returns, I become quite good at choosing items that I end up keeping, so stick with me.

With fall on the horizon, now is the perfect time to re-up your closet for the season, and I’ve been busy figuring out what to add to my wardrobe. My shopping list is now set, and it’s filled with specific return-proof items I feel confident about recommending (I even already own some of them in other colors). Pro tip: Just be sure to check the item details, such as measurements, fabric, and care instructions, before placing your order.
