This summer, I'm aiming to look rich. Not just any kind of rich—the enviable, effortlessly cool kind of rich where my wardrobe reflects sunny days in the South of France and farmers market runs to buy a dozen tulips for my small New York City apartment. If you're like me, summer is your season. The weather gets warmer, the days get longer, and the more I see my friends, the more I'm aiming to hear, "Wait, did you jump a tax bracket?"

Thankfully for you, I spent the last five hours on Nordstrom combing through all of the site's new arrivals and contemporary womenswear to find the best summer items that I'm already adding to my cart before they sell out. I have a sneaking suspicion all of these will be gone by mid-May, so stock up on your favorites now. From elegant two-piece linen sets to timeless, elevated summer staples you can wear again and again, these 35 elegant Nordstrom summer fashion pieces are calling my name. Happy shopping!
