When I recently tried on a pair of Carel pumps I couldn't believe how comfortable they were! I'm now determined to find a good-quality secondhand pair as they are quite expensive to buy brand new. As they are a French brand Vestiaire Collective has a good depth of stock.

I have a vintage kilt that I pull out every winter, and it's starting to look a bit worn-out! It's one of those trends that's pretty much always relevant, so time to introduce another colourway so that my original style can take a break now and then. Etsy is great for authentic virgin wool kilts! 

There's nothing better than cashmere in winter and this gorgeous ecru style is high on my wish list. A classic that will work hard in my wardrobe all year round, it's an investment that I'm happy to make! I'll wear it with blue jeans and ballet flats or a silk slip skirt and knee-high boots. You can find so many great knitwear pieces secondhand—just make sure to check the description for holes or pulls!

This winter, I am hoping to find a gorgeous clutch bag that I can bring out for weddings, parties, dinner dates and work events. This Loewe pouch-style number has really caught my eye. It's subtle but still cool, and of course black will go with everything!

I often find it hard to source vintage clothing in my size (I'm a 12-14 in most pieces) so I always get excited when I see pieces that will (hopefully!) fit by my favourite designers. This pretty Isabel Marant silk top is just what my wardrobe needs. I'll wear it with black jeans and heeled boots for a night out and add a tailored coat on top for extra warmth. 

I've been considering investing in a vintage Fendi baguette bag for quite some time now. I've searched endlessly for a colourway I love, but with so many versions out there, I've struggled to pinpoint the one I want. That is until I spotted this orange style over at Open For Vintage. Although it's super bright, I can imagine adding it to so many outfits for years to come. 

When I say I've been looking for a particular blue striped shirt (from a past season Gucci men's collection) for years, I'm not exaggerating. For two years I've been trying to find it, with no luck, so I'm considering buying an alternative striped style instead. When it comes to shirts, men's styles always have such a good slouchy fit that can be easily layered over dresses or tucked into baggy jeans. 

A lot of my fellow fashion editor friends (that's a mouthful!) sell their clothes on The Cirkel, and I've just sorted out some unwanted items to do the same. I know it's autumn, but I've spotted this Faithfull The Brand co-ord on-site, and my brain is telling me to get it. I could easily style with trainers or boots, layer the waistcoat over a roll neck top and add a cosy coat—yep, I'm definitely persuading myself!

If you're looking to rent as well as buy secondhand, it's well worth following Rites on Instagram. They manage to source even some of last season's most sought after pieces (hello Realisation and Tove), but right now I have my eye on Three Graces copper Esther dress. Autumn in an outfit. 

It's finally jacket weather, and what could be more cosy (and chic) than a suede jacket you can wear with everything from slip skirts to jeans. You'll have to act quick to nab this Prada jacket from Chillie London, I have a feeling once the word is out, it'll go to good home quickly. 

If the street style from fashion month is anything to go by, there's a new bag trend in town. From Gucci's Horsebit Chain Bag to Toteme's T-Lock, its clear that arm candy is going to be short and stout, taking over from the capacious tote reign. To get ahead of the trend, I've got my sights set on this bowling bag style by Loewe in a unique berry hue. 

With party season on the horizon, I've been keeping an eye out for striking outerwear that will be just as impactful as my outfit, and voila! Joseph's sleek cape-like coat brings just the right amount of drama, with a side of minimalism. Basically, everything I've been searching for. 

With the aforementioned party season looming, I'm in need of a dress that can do it all. Cocktail parties, work drinks and a few weddings too, this silky green dress from Reformation is top of my list.

This Row slouchy bag would be perfect to carry around during the day either for work or a day out! I love the wool detailing and its a steal at under £500.

I have been on the hunt for some red ballet flats, so was so excited when I saw these Masure Gavriel ones. They look so soft, and would go perfectly within some ankle length black jeans.

Tartan checks are going to be big this autumn, and i'd pair this with a black polo, white socks and loafers!
