Flat shoe styles continue to reign supreme among the fashion set this season, and I couldn't be happier. As someone who can't handle wearing heels except for the occasional car-to-the-dinner-seat situation, this particular shoe trend is a true blessing. If you're looking to add a great pair of flats to your current rotation, there's no better time than now. Not only are there endless options available to shop, but endless styling inspiration also abounds.

Three cities I often look to for inspiration are London, Copenhagen, and Paris. I took a quick scroll through my Insta follows in those European cities with flat shoes in mind, and I came up with some incredibly cool outfit ideas for how to wear a variety of options. From simple ballet flats to edgy boots and trendy Mary Janes, I found five flat shoe styles that fashion people in each respective city are reaching for this season.
