With a slew of winter weddings on my calendar this season, I now find myself in need of a handful of formal dresses to wear as I watch many of my friends finally tie the knot after so many postponements due to the pandemic. Once the off-season for trips down the aisle, winter now appears to be *the* time to get married.

So today, I thought it only right to share my growing list of dresses in contention for the busy season ahead. From velvet gowns to silky slips, scroll on for 29 dresses to wear to all your forthcoming winter weddings. Who knows—maybe we'll end up wearing the same ones.

My top contenders:

The velvet fabric feels perfect for winter.

I never used to like formal two-pieces, but this one has me thinking otherwise.

Neutrals are a no-brainer for weddings if you ask me.

I actually already bought this one. You should too.

More dresses to wear to a winter wedding:

The exaggerated neck scarf is a vibe.

You can't go wrong with a satin wrap dress.

This sapphire hue is everything.

This shade of green might be my new favorite color for winter.

A good rule of thumb: If you're wearing Jacquemus, you made the right outfit call.

You can wear this for years to come.

This dress is giving major French-girl vibes.

You don't need to catch the bouquet if you're wearing this floral slip.

This dress deserves some serious love.

This color stopped me in my tracks.
