I'll Be Wearing This Summer Trend for 92 Days Straight

Cute Summer Tops - Reformation Top

On Lauren: Reformation Louisiana Top ($128)

When I find something I like, I kind of become obsessed with it. This mainly happens with food, but on the rare occasion that I find a trend versatile enough to wear multiple times without feeling like I'm constantly outfit-repeating, you can guarantee I'm about to buy the lot. There's a cute summer top trend going around, and I've unsurprisingly high-key fallen in love with it. The trend I speak of is puff-sleeve tops, aka the summer pick-me-up you didn't even know you needed.

This particular top style looks great with everything from jeans to midi skirts, which is exactly why I'll be wearing this trend for all 92 days of summer. Okay, maybe not all 92 days, but I'm considering it my official go-to cute summer top. The fun thing about puff-sleeve tops is that they come in many variations, meaning there's one out there for everyone. Above (hi, it me) is a photo of me wearing a smocked cropped version, and below, you'll see one of my lovely friends (Hallie Gould, beauty editor at Byrdie) wearing a more romantic ruffly lace-up style. Same but different, know what I mean?

On Hallie: Reformation Cassidy Top ($148)

I went ahead and shopped out my favorite iterations of the trend so you can start crushing on the adorable top just as hard as Hallie and I have. Otherwise, all you'll need is your favorite jeans and some strappy sandals—you'll then have yourself the most Instagrammable summer outfit to date. Happy summer (and even happier shopping).

This wallpaper-inspired print is something we're seeing a lot of this season.

The kind of bra top I think I'd feel just fine wearing in public.

If you haven't heard of this brand before, be sure to check it out.

I've never wanted to spend $1290 more than I do right now.

This looks vintage in the best way.

Slime green—still making a strong case for spring 2019.

Baby blue is one of our favorite spring colors.

Staud has a fair amount of this top style, so be sure to shop more of the brand when you get the chance.

This beige color is so hot right now.

The ruching makes all the difference on this puff-sleeved baby.

I can't think of one thing I don't love about this top.

A striking black blouse you'll have for seasons to come.

Because one can never have too many white blouses.

Cinched at the waist and full in the arms—always a recipe for outfit success.

Contrast stitching always looks so expensive.
