Wear Whatever You Want Post-30, But Especially These Outfits
As a 30-something with a closet full of clothes that need to be turned into an outfit every day, I've looked to Instagram and street style for my fair share of outfit ideas, as we all do in the year 2018. And what I've found is that now, more than ever, people are choosing their outfits based on what they feel most confident in, as opposed to what you "should" or "shouldn't" wear at a certain age. That said, in my 30s, there are certain things I don't feel comfortable in anymore, and I aspire to look more put together than I did in my 20s.
So I pulled together 10 classic outfit ideas that are especially perfect for ages 30 and up, via stylish women who happen to be in their 30s. There are looks that are perfect for the office, weekends, and travel, and there's a good chance you already own many of the pieces needed to put them together. Even better, they all feel of-the-moment yet classic enough to wear for years to come. See the looks and shop the key pieces below.

Jeans and a denim jacket don't have to be boring—just swap the jacket out for a white one and throw on a pair of bold ankle boots.

There are so many ways to wear a blazer, including with a velvet midi dress and sock boots. It's an instant outfit elevator.

Make a pantsuit look even cooler by rolling your sleeves up and pairing it with flat slides (and a fun color doesn't hurt).

Dress up a maxi skirt by wearing it with a leather jacket and heels. I particularly love this look for a date night.
A tie-waist shirtdress is timeless and flattering, but it's the forward square-toe shoe choice that makes it feel fresh.
