Our Group Chat Lost It Over This Serum Because Our Skin Has Never Looked Better

It takes a lot for a beauty product (especially an expensive one) to completely capture our editors' attention. Whilst we're lucky that we get to try new beauty launches as part of our jobs, we're not quick to recommend a product unless it absolutely blows us away. We do believe that some luxury skincare brands are worth spending a little extra on, but a product has to be truly worth its price tag for it to appear on Who What Wear UK. You could say that we're a hard-to-please bunch of beauty fanatics.

However, when I asked: "Can I have a show of hands if you have tried Bioeffect EGF Serum and love it?" on our Slack group chat, I was inundated with notifications.

"YES! I do love this!," said Hannah Almassi, Who What Wear UK's editor-in-chief. "I'm Obsessed!!!" said Jerrylyn Saguiped, our affiliates specialist. "I also LOVE this," said shopping editor, Remy Farrell. Quickly, we decided that Bioeffect EGF Serum was deserving of its own review. At £129 for a 15ml bottle, it's definitely an investment purchase, but we believe that it's genuinely worth it for the visible results that it delivers. Scroll down for the team's verdict.

After using Bioeffect EGF Serum for two weeks.

When I took this picture I'd been using Bioeffect EGF Serum consistently, day and night, for a couple of weeks. I'm only wearing SPF on my skin here, and my complexion has never looked more radiant or even-toned. The results were so good from using it overnight that in the mornings I was leaping out of bed to study the glow that was radiating from my skin—the improvements were cumulative every time I used it. Even in the height of summer, my pigmentation was minimal, stubborn acne scarring was fading promptly and my skin was beaming.

After using Bioeffect EGF Power Serum.

I've since moved onto Bioeffect EGF Power Serum, and I'm even more blown away. The Power version also contains barley KGF (keratinocyte growth factors), NAG (n-acetyl glucosamine) and hyaluronic acid. I'm down to the last few drops and I know I'm going to miss it when I run out. I'm wearing a lightweight skin tint in this picture, but I can attest to how much my skin texture has improved from using this serum. It's plumper, smoother and I can get away with minimal makeup.

"I have to admit, when I first started using EGF Day Serum I didn't really know what it was or how much it cost (full disclosure: it had been given to me at a work event). But now, the fact that it makes my skin look so much smoother, even-toned and brighter makes me seriously regret having wastefully smothered it onto my face so many days in a row. Yes, it's an expensive product, but I believe that out of all of the beauty products I currently own, it genuinely makes the biggest positive difference to the overall appearance of my skin."

"I'd never really got into the routine of using a serum regularly until I tried Bioeffect EGF Day Serum. On application it feels extremely moisturising without becoming tacky or sticky, and the formula is great on my sensitive skin whilst actually being effective. I've noticed a real difference in the texture of skin, and my pigmentation has evened out."

"It's not often that I try a beauty product and notice results so quickly that I immediately tell all of my friends and family, but after trying just about every facial in the book in an attempt to get that elusive 'glass skin', after just one week of using Bioeffect's EGF Power Serum and Hydrating Cream, I've finally ditched the foundation and let my naturally brighter skin do the talking—no exaggeration."
