I'm a Beauty Editor—These Are the Luxury Products I Really Rate for Autumn
I love autumn. In fact, it's my favourite season ever. To me, there's something so exciting about getting wrapped up in your favourite jumper, heading out on a walk with the leaves crunching beneath your feet, coming home and lighting your favourite candle before cosying up with a film and a mug of hot chocolate. However, as a beauty editor, another reason why I love this season is that it often makes way for some of the most exciting beauty launches of the year, and 2024 is no exception.
There have been so many new beauty products landing on my desk as of late, but luxury beauty definitely seems to be having a moment this autumn. From designer makeup launches to fashion house fragrances and state-of-the-art skincare, now is the time to invest in those staple autumn beauty products that you've been saving up for all summer.
Below, I've rounded up the best luxury autumn beauty products of 2024, and trust me when I say that this edit contains the stand-out launches of the season that you really don't want to miss. From Chanel and Dior to Celine and Loewe, I've included pretty much every luxury brand you could think of, so keep on scrolling for the ultimate autumn wishlist...

1. Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad
Purple is set to be big this season, which is why I'm adding this new Tom Ford eyeshadow palette straight to my basket. The silky soft powder formulas last for hours, and you can create a range of different looks thanks to a mix of shimmery and matte shades.
2. Loewe Earth Elixir
If you're thinking of investing in a new fragrance this season, Loewe's latest scent, Earth Elixir, might just be for you. It features warm, musky notes of truffle and oud, fresh pear and floral mimosa and violet for a truly intoxicating finish.
3. Oribe Mirror Rinse Glass Hair Treatment
Forget glass skin, as autumn is all about glass hair, with glossy, high-shine finishes. This glass hair treatment from Oribe not only looks chic, but will make your hair look as if you've just spent hours in the salon.
4. La Prairie Life Matrix Haute Rejuvenation Cream
La Prairie skincare is definitely an investment, but the formulas are unmatched. The new Life Matrix Haute Rejuvenation Cream works to increase the skin’s cellular longevity and enhance the skin's rejuvenation process. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
5. Celine Rouge Triomphe Lipstick
Celine Beauté might not be launching till January 2025, but luckily for us beauty lovers, you can already get your hands on the first instalment: the Rouge Triomphe lipstick. This beautiful red shade is launching exclusively at the Harrods Haute Parfumerie corner and Winter 2024 pop-up from 31 August, before launching online in October. It really doesn't get much chicer than this.
6. Jo Loves Black Cashmeran & Tonka Candle
As mentioned above, I love cosying up with a candle in the autumn months, and this new scent from Jo Loves is perfect for this time of year. The warming fragrance has a sexy spiciness to it that will keep you coming back for more.
7. Balmain Beauty Carbone Eau De Parfum
Balmain Beauty's Carbone scent has to be one of the most exciting fragrance launches of the season. It opens with hints of sweet rose and sensual white musk, before a warming haze of tobacco, suede and cumin take over. This is the kind of fragrance that will have people stopping you in the street to ask you what you are wearing.
8. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment
Our skin always needs a bit of love in autumn as it adjusts to the changing temperatures, and I plan on investing in the new Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment. The leave-on cream is enriched with multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid for a nourished, plump and radiant complexion.
9. Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour
Chanel nail polishes are so chic, and the new Spirituelle shade just screams autumn to me. I personally think this would look great as both a manicure and pedicure shade, and will see you through the new season in style.
10. Sisley-Paris Phyto-Noir Mascara
I'm really into brown mascara for autumn, which is why Sisley's Phyto-Noir Mascara is at the top of my wishlist. This luxury formula boosts volume while adding both length and definition. Plus, it contains a vitamin peptide to help your bare lashes look longer and fuller too.
11. Le Labo Lavande 31 Body Lotion
Earlier this year I fell in love with Le Labo's rich, comforting Lavande 31 fragrance, so I was so excited to see that you can now get the scent in a nourishing body lotion. I will be slathering this on my body all autumn.
12. Dior Ambre Nuit Esprit De Parfum
Dior recently launched a concentrated reiteration of five iconic scents from the La Collection Priveé Christian Dior Collection, and I've got my eyes on Ambre Nuit for autumn. With a spicy, musky, warm amber scent, you'll want to nuzzle your nose into this perfume and never wash it off.
13. Kate Somerville Mega-A Skin Transforming Serum
As said previously, autumn is the perfect time to give your skin some TLC, and this clever new serum from Kate Somerville is bound to be a bestseller. Powered by clinical-grade retinal, it is gentle enough for daily use and can be used on all skin types. Plus, the formula contains hyaluronic acid and squalene to help battle dryness.
14. Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM Eau De Parfum
There have been so many good fragrance launches this season. New from Maison Francis Kurkdjian is APOM, a floral scent with notes of lavender, orange blossom, amber, vanilla and musk. To me, this smells like cuddling up to your favourite person after a long day.
15. Dolce & Gabbana Fig Skin Perfector
Dolce & Gabbana have had some exciting makeup launches this season, and I'm excited to try the Fig Skin Perfector. Not only does it look super chic, but the blurring powder helps to minimise shine for up to 12 hours, ensuring your autumnal makeup look stays all day.
16. Tom Ford Black Lacquer Eau De Parfum
If you like warm, woody fragrances, then you need to know about Black Lacquer by Tom Ford. This smoky scent has both leathery and woody undertones making it a super sexy choice for an autumnal date night.
17. Givenchy Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick
You can never have too many red lipsticks for autumn, and I am obsessed with this chic design from Givenchy. The silky formula gives a satin finish that hydrates the lips thanks to shea butter and hyaluronic acid.
18. Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush Liquid Blush
Everyone is talking about the new YSL liquid blushers, and for good reason. Not only do they come in the most gorgeous shades, but the colour payoff is seriously impressive.
19. Initio Parfums Privés Oud for Greatness Hair Mist
My top tip to smelling good this autumn is to use a hair mist. Thanks to this clever product, every time someone hugs you they will be greeted by your chosen scent. This season I'm going for the new Oud for Greatness Hair Mist by Initio Parfums Privés, thanks to the addictive woody, musky scent.
20. Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Concealer
Although I don't wear much makeup in summer, I like to amp things up a bit in autumn and winter. One thing I really want to add to my makeup bag is the new Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Concealer, which blends skincare and makeup to give a hydrating, brightening finish.
21. Noble Panacea The Exceptional Eye Lift Concentrate
Make sure to show the gentle skin around your eyes some love this autumn with Noble Panacea's newest creation. This luxury skincare brand has released a retinal eye cream to help lift the skin and soften fine lines.
