Barbiecore Isn't Going Anywhere—21 Barbie Nail Designs I Want

Like everyone else right now, I've been swept up in Barbie mania. I went to see the film last weekend (spoiler alert: it's great) and I've been captivated by the looks from the cast on the press tour. Take Margot Robbie and her team's replications of some of the major Barbie doll looks—absolutely iconic.

And the details haven't been missed on the hair, makeup and nails, either. Take Robbie's Totally Hair Barbie look. Celebrity manicurist Betina Goldstein recreated the psychedelic Emilio Pucci print dress on her nails, and I've become obsessed. As someone whose wardrobe is comprised of various shades of black, white and beige (you could say that my colour palette lends itself more to Oppenheimer than Barbie), you won't find me wearing head-to-toe pink. Barbie nail designs, however, are something I can get on board with.

If you're looking for some Barbie nail ideas for your next manicure, scroll ahead for the best Barbie nails I've saved.

Here's a close-up on those psychedelic swirls we saw on Margot Robbie during the Mexico stop on the press tour. Goldstein even shows how to replicate the look on her IG, and it's surprisingly easy to do. It involves dropping nail polish colours into water, swirling them together and then dipping your nail into the water to allow the design to adhere. Incredible.

Not every Barbie-inspired nail design has to be hot pink. Celebrity manicurist Michelle Class demonstrates how a pink almond manicure is always a winner.

This Barbie is a minimalist, and I'm obsessed with this dual-toned hot pink French manicure.

This abstract mani reminds me of the bright colours you see in Barbie's dreamhouse.

A smattering of tiny hearts is a cute way to elevate your usual pink manicure with a nod to the film.

Hot pink French tips are so much fun without being OTT.

"Come on Barbie, let's go party!" is exactly what these nails are saying.

Soft blush tones are always a pretty look.

If Barbie was into crystals, she'd no doubt choose rose quartz for her manifestation mani.

Can't decide on one colour? Wear a Barbie-inspired hue on each nail.

Never underestimate the power of baby-pink nail polish.

Barbiecore meets glazed nails meets French manicure. This might be my favourite.

If mermaid Barbie went to the nail salon, I reckon she'd ask for this pink seashell French mani.

How pretty is this pink flower nail art?

Pink glazed nails will see you through Barbie and beyond.

Now is the time to experiment with embellishments—why not try one as an accent nail?
