Like many, I started out the year with a bunch of New Year's resolutions. And while a couple of them have already fallen off my list, I've managed to stay true to two very important goals: Shop less often, and shop more consciously. I've been hitting my local thrift store more frequently, buying things off of friends, and noticing the materials that actually go into what I'm buying so I can invest in quality pieces. And it's as if Amazon knew exactly what I was up to because weeks into my more sustainable shopping excursion, it announced the launch of its latest brand: Amazon Aware. The new collection is an assortment of carbon-neutral fashion, beauty, and home products at a surprisingly affordable price point.
