How to Wear an Off-the-Shoulder Top to Work

Allyson Payer

Alexa Chung attended the Dior Cruise show in England yesterday wearing pieces from their S/S 16 collection, naturally. She looked as cool as ever in her A-line paisley skirt and off-the-shoulder top, but what really struck us was the slim long-sleeve tee that was layered under the on-trend top. (While it looks like an outfit that Chung would instinctively come up with herself, Dior sent the look down the runway with the same styling.)

We're in agreement that off-the-shoulder tops aren't the most appropriate option for the workplace, but Chung's decidedly fancy outfit can easily translate to a more conservative office dress code with the addition of a slim tee layered underneath. The flattering top style doesn't have to be reserved for weekends only after all!
