I Took a Break From Shopping, But These Zara Finds Pulled Me Back In
Shopping for myself is my idea of a good time, but lately, it's been on pause. In the interest of being a little selfless during the holidays, I've directed all of my shopping energy toward saving up to buy everyone else gifts. Needless to say, I've been on somewhat of a spending sabbatical, and I still have more time to go before my self-imposed break is finished. So far, I've resisted the urge to buy everything haunting my Instagram and TikTok feeds, but after browsing through Zara's new lineup, I may have to cheat a little.
The newest drops at the retailer have just been too good. Artful prints, expensive-looking coats, and romantic floral pieces that look like they could be from Saint Laurent—I am sold. My wallet won't be too thrilled, but at least my closet will be. After a solid hour of combing through the entire site, my cart is overflowing to the brim with trendy pieces I want to wear immediately. And because I really am selfless, I'm sharing them all below. Keep scrolling to check them out.
In case you didn't know, rose chokers are one of those It-girl accessories fashion people seem to be loving lately. I've been searching for one forever, and at this price, I may have to get two.
Zara's denim jumpsuit has spurred a lot of internet buzz, so I'm eager to finally see what the hype is about.
I just know this will be my go-to party dress for the upcoming holiday-party season.
It's nice to see Zara getting in on the parachute-pant wave. I love the fit on these.
I've seen these in person, and the pictures online don't do them justice.
This jacket has returned for another year, and since I wasn't quick enough last time, I won't be making that same mistake again.
This set is perfect for days when you don't want to think too hard about what to wear.
A coat like this just makes everything you wear with it look so much chicer.
When dressing for the cold gets monotonous, interesting knits like this will save the day.
No, it's not just you. Denim boots are indeed everywhere. Instead of splurging on a designer pair, these are an affordable entry point into the trend.
This jacket is pricier than most Zara items, but it's made out of real leather, so I'd say it's worth it.

Indya Brown is a fashion editor, stylist, and writer living in Los Angeles. While going to school at Columbia University in New York City, she got her feet wet in the fashion industry interning at Elle magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and New York magazine's The Cut. After graduating in 2016, she joined The Cut as a fashion assistant, eventually working her way up to fashion editor. There, she worked on a multitude of projects, including styling inbook feature stories for New York magazine's print issue, writing and pitching market stories for The Cut, and serving as fashion lead for The Cut's branded content. While New York has been her home for over 10 years, she moved to Los Angeles in the midst of the pandemic in 2020 for a new chapter. Now she is a fashion market editor for Who What Wear, focusing on emerging designers, rising trends on and off the internet, interior design, and BIPOC creatives and brands. Aside from her duties as a fashion market editor, Brown is also a freelance stylist and writer, working on national print and video commercial campaigns for Sephora, The Independent, and Cadillac. Her bylines also include Harper's Bazaar, Vox, and The New York Times. But once the computer goes down and the emails turn off, she's likely eating her way through Koreatown, hunting down vintage furniture, scoping out new outrageous nail designs to try, or taking a hot cycling class.
