They call the holiday season the most wonderful time of the year, and for me, all the party invites are the reason for that. Actually, it’s not so much the parties as it is the opportunity to wear really fabulous holiday party looks. Winter isn’t my favorite season to dress for, but when it comes to a winter party look, I have to admit I change my tune. It’s the time of year to have fun and be a little more whimsical and over the top than you normally would. Sequins? Absolutely. Bows? Encouraged. I was doing some digging on Instagram, searching for all of the winter party outfit inspiration I could find, and came across five outfits that I immediately wanted to re-create.

Keep scrolling to see which five winter party looks I’m loving for this season.

Sparkly Dress + Faux Fur

In my opinion, the sequin dress + faux fur outfit formula is the best route to go when you want to look stunning for a holiday party, especially for New Year's Eve. There is just something so glamorous about this pairing. It's very Carrie Bradshaw. I'm planning on wearing this look on an upcoming trip to Aspen.

If there is ever a perfect time for a pretty party dress, it's the holiday season. This season, I am looking everywhere for dresses with bows, satin fabrics, rosettes, and pretty detailing to wear to the holiday events on my calendar. There is one from Self-Portrait (linked below) that I fell in love with.

Knit Dress + Metallic Accessories

There is nothing like a great knit dress. It's the perfect combination of cozy and polished. This is the type of look I would reach for when going to a dinner party or cozy holiday party with friends. Adding the metallic accessories takes this look over the finish line and adds a little festive feel for the holidays.

Minidress + Tall Boots

This look is always in my winter party outfit rotation. I'm on the shorter side, so I'm partial to a minidress, and there is something so fun and flirty about the shorter hemline that I like for a party. Top it off with knee-high boots and sheer tights.

A good matching set never fails. Not only are they so easy to style, but they just look so chic and polished. I'm obsessed with this red corset-and-pants set from Rezek Studio. It's the perfect not-so-holiday holiday party look.
