What to Wear Hiking This Summer

It's time to get out and conquer that hiking trail you've been meaning to try because nothing is more rejuvenating and relaxing than a long (or short) trek away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It gives you time to think, and it's a fun, refreshing way to help you reach the goal of 10,000 steps in a day. But this revitalizing summertime activity can quickly take a wrong turn if you're not properly prepared with all the essential gear (think a water bottle, some sort of navigation, sunscreen, and food) or dressed in appropriate hiking attire, the latter of which we're here to help with today.

Now when it comes to figuring out what to wear hiking, always (and we do mean always) make comfort (and protection from the sun) your primary goal. That means a good pair of walking shoes (sneakers are always a safe bet, as are hiking boots), nonrestrictive, moisture-wicking attire, a baseball cap, and sunglasses are definite musts when piecing together a good outfit. Ahead we've found some really great (not to mention über-cute) hiking outfits to copy the next time you plan on trekking miles upon miles.
