While we're fans of just about anything in the plushy material, our favorite interpretation of the trend just might be—drumroll, please—velvet sneakers. Can you blame us?
For starters, Refinery29 brought our attention to some updated versions of classic kicks: As part of the newest Pop-In@Nordstrom launching today, the retailer collaborated with Vans on velvet iterations of the Old Skool sneakers. Thanks to the timeless shoe style and the velvet update, the shoes strike the perfect balance between classic and on trend.
