Give your lightweight basic tops a fashion-forward touch and layer them on like the girls on the spring/summer Miu Miu runway. The key here is to layer them nonchalantly so that you can see them all peeking through. A fresh palette of pale yellows, grays, and whites screams spring 2023.

Add a Flash of Red

Okay, this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but one micro-trend I've been seeing this season (and I spotted all over the F/W 23 runways too) are undies styled just above your skirt or pants—allowing them to peek through subtly. Opt for a pair with a special feature such as a silky or sequin fabric, that will add a pop to your basics.

Add a Hoodie

Hoodies are the gloriously cheap basic every fashion person will be wearing this year. Thanks to their huge presence on the recent F/W 23 runways, fashion girls have already been quick to jump on the trend—styling hoodies with everything from full skirts to minis as well as layering them under jackets and blazers.
