These Will Be the Most Popular Sneakers of 2017
Every year there’s a standout sneaker style that defines street style. From classic Stan Smiths to Rihanna’s creepers for Puma, one pair always takes over the fashion world. To ensure our lovely readers are ahead of the sneaker-shopping trend, we reached out to the team at Adidas for insider details on the style they predict everyone will own next year. According to the athleisure brand, 2017 will be all about the EQT series (which first debuted in 1993 and is set to make a major comeback next year).
Earlier this month the brand released a limited-edition of the EQT during Art Basel and the shoe is so sleek. “The latest evolution of the EQT series, the EQT Support 93/17 is a bold new manifestation of the EQT design philosophy. The EQT Support 93/17 reconfigures the original blueprint of the EQT Support 93 with an aggressive design language, blending authentic Equipment materials with an uncompromising modern mode,” the team at Adidas Originals shared with us.
The women’s silhouette won’t be available until early next year, but we’re already anticipating major success for the updated sneaker style (especially if it looks anything like the limited-edition featured below). We can already picture It girls like Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin wearing the stylish sneaks.
Check out the latest evolution of the EQT series below and shop more of our favorite sneakers from Adidas.
