Of all the rituals that come with the New Year, one of my favorites is cleaning out my closet and replacing looks that no longer serve me with pieces that feel fresh. This year is no different: I plan to do a serious deep dive into my drawers and shelves, discarding anything worn, ripped, ill-fitting, or seriously overdone in favor of pieces that get ahead of the coming trends.
While some current trends are likely to remain in the New Year (think bike shorts, cowboy boots, and PVC bags), I'm also looking forward to trying out some new options; think feather embellishments, earthy hues, and office-approved top handle bags.
