I’m Currently Obsessed With London Style—Shop These 6 Trends to Get the Look
The London fashion crowd are by far the coolest people I follow on any platform. They have a knack from uninhibited outfit pairings that feel authentic, grunge, chic, and new all at the same time. Effortlessness and spot-on trend dressing live simultaneously for them in a way that is unlike most. Hence why I’ve taken the time to break down their current favorite trends.
There is a history to British fashion that makes it rich, grunge-y, and decadent. And the legacy continues through today’s fashion set. They curate a mixture of androgynous trends like neckties and suiting with vintage trends like retro sneakers and classic vests.
I’ve taken the liberty of shopping out the top trends for dressing with the ease and coolness of a Londoner below.
Retro Sneakers
These match-all sneakers are your trusty, reliable, and comfortable option for everyday. These sneakers are the epitome of the ease of British dressing.
Neck Ties
If anyone can pull off a necktie it's a London fashion person. This trend immediately edges up any look.
Head-to-Toe Leather
The British crowd is definitely not afraid of statement ensemble. Head-to-toe leather is as extroverted as it is refined.
Berets
The coolest topper for any outfit is an ultra-chic beret. Dainty, sophisticated, and edgy.
Oversized Blazers
A boxy blazer is a surefire way to look as effortlessly fashion-forward as a London local. Throw over anything from a sweatsuit to a vest.
Vests
Vintage-style vests are a cool-girl staple and the British do it best. Wear it with a full suit or with casual denim.
