FYI, I'm Obsessed With the Valentino Garavani Rockstud Heels Right Now

Anyone who knows me well knows that I take full advantage of holiday party dressing, maintaining my "more is more" motto year after year. No matter the dress code an invitation may advise, I always say, "Bring on the high heels, embellished dresses, and seasonal color palettes."
This year, the star of all my favorite holiday looks is a party shoe because it's the one accessory with the ability to turn even the simplest LBD or pair of jeans into a statement look. But I'm not talking about just any old party shoes. My must-have for the season are the Valentino Garavani Rockstud heels. The style first appeared on the runway over a decade ago and has since become iconic in the fashion world thanks to its stud details, which add an edgy touch to an otherwise sleek leather footwear. The punk-meets-glamour design feels festive for the holiday season, as evidenced below, but I'll be wearing these on nights out all year long.
An embellished minidress will always be at the top of my list for holiday party attire. If it has both sequins and crystals, then consider me sold. While it may seem fitting to opt for simple footwear, the holidays are not the time for simplicity. On the contrary, the additional embellishment by way of the Valentino Garavani Rockstud heels is just the right amount of over-the-top boldness I love to see this time of year. The more shine the merrier.
Speaking of which, I can't imagine a top that screams, "Wear me to a holiday party!" louder. The shimmer! The gold! The sleeves! It's almost too gorgeous to wear. I like the idea of styling this sheer and shiny statement piece with casual denim to mimic that juxtaposition between elegance and rebellion embodied by the Rockstud design.
This look brings to life the metallic color story of my dreams. Naturally, a Valentino Garavani Roman Stud handbag with standout gold details feels right at home here. (But I absolutely recommend wearing this look out.)
Warning: This red ensemble can and will turn heads. Tailored dressing has truly never looked so good (or festive), and this suit is begging to be worn outside of your 9-to-5. The very on-trend miniskirt adds a modern, night-on-the-town feel to the fitted jacket. With the addition of the Valentino Garavani Rockstud heels, this look is very "business on the top, party on the bottom" in the best way. I love how the studs really pop on the two-tone patent design of this pair, drawing even more attention to themselves. Like I said, party shoes are the star of the show this holiday season.
