These Chic Holiday Outfits All Have One Accessory in Common

Kelsey Adams (aka @koolkelsey) is a talented multi-hyphenate who wears many hats—and many pairs of sunglasses—over the course of any given week. As a content creator, model, mom, seasoned world traveler, and self-proclaimed great gift giver, this New Yorker certainly understands the importance of dressing for the occasion, whatever that occasion may be, so she’s the perfect person to tap for advice as we head into the holiday season.

She’s a big believer in the notion that the right pair of shades can instantly change the vibe of any look. "The pairs we choose to wear reflect bits of our personality, and for me, that means something ultra feminine that still stands out. Headed out for an elevated evening? "A red suit for a holiday dinner is a no-brainer,” Adams explains. "It’s elegant, classic, and pairs well with a polished pair of sunglasses when en route. I styled my satin suit with a sleek pair of Versace sunglasses in a rich Bordeaux color to give an extra pop of flavor. The gold Medusa emblem won me over because it’s unmistakable and pairs so well with most of my accessories.”

As for off-duty dressing, Adams still knows how to turn heads. "Elevated-casual is the way to go for a day of holiday shopping and get-togethers,” she says. "Blue is my favorite color, so I went with a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses for a bold pop of color. The blue frames are gorgeously vibrant and pair well with my denim and patent leather. Even though this hue is quite the statement, I’d wear them on a day-to-day basis because they’re lightweight and easy to style on the go.”
