For me, it's things like organising my wardrobe and investing in a new outwear piece that have replaced the tradition of buying a new school uniform and stationery. New jackets, in particular, have become a sort of marker for the season ahead—a sartorial intention that will drive my outfit choices and shape my personal style.
Will I opt for a cocooning puffer? A '70s-inspired shearling jacket? Or perhaps the punk twist of tartan? So much to choose from, so little time.
