The Resale Rundown: Fashion Week Just Confirmed These Fall Finds as the Ones to Invest In

While September fashion month is all about looking to the new year, I'm choosing to live in the moment by soaking in all the fall street-style moments taking place right in front of me. Living in New York City, I have the pleasure (and financial pain) of absorbing shopping inspiration every time I step out my front door. My wallet practically rolls its eyes and braces for impact every time I spot the NYC fashion crew wearing something I immediately want to own. This month was worse than others, thanks to the street-style moments that have permanently changed my fall wish list. There was no shortage of smart layering, outerwear trends, pretty suede bags, and accessories to match. In an effort to re-create these unique outfits, I'm treasure hunting on eBay. Whenever I want to find pieces that aren't so… mainstream as the kids say, eBay is my place. To see the fashion month–inspired gems I found, keep scrolling.
Two categories in the accessories department stood out to me: Vintage-inspired timepieces and printed handbags. Many in the fashion set have rediscovered their love of watches, and some have even started collecting them. Whether it's Cartier or Anne Klein, these classic wrist accessories have been on full display. For handbags, it's all about east-west shapes, animal prints, and suede fabrics. Here are a few of my favorite eBay finds that fit the bill below.
This year's fashion month outfits have inspired me to layer classic wardrobe items in a new way. I've spotted uniquely styled button-downs, surprisingly chic anorak jackets, and trench coats in unexpected prints. On my personal wish list is a funnel-neck coat and a gingham trench like the ones I've shopped out below.
