Walmart's Shelves Are Stocked With Spring's Top Denim Trends—Here's Why These Looks Are Worth It
I moved to New York City about a year ago, and I quickly realized my laid-back wardrobe from my Texas lifestyle was not cutting it. While I'm strictly a "jeans and a T-shirt" girl, I still want to feel polished and elevated while running around Manhattan. Finding on-trend denim that actually works for my body is one thing, but affording it is another, which is why I was so excited to see Walmart's latest spring denim drop. Read on to see exactly why I'm scooping up these styles.
What to Know About Walmart Denim
If you need options, you've come to the right place: Walmart carries over 1000 denim pieces online, available in classic cuts, trending silhouettes, and must-have washes. Trying on denim isn't always my favorite task, which is why I love that Walmart offers inclusive sizing (including plus and petite options) and quality construction, so I feel confident I'll find a fit that's made to last. The retailer also offers fast shipping, easy returns, and curbside pickup, so you can get what you need in a pinch. It also doesn't hurt that Walmart denim is affordable, making it easy to take on designer looks without spending that sort of cash.
Why It's Editor Approved
We wouldn't recommend Walmart's denim if it weren't stylish. Some of our go-to brands to shop are Scoop, Time and Tru, and Free Assembly. I like to keep an eye out for its seasonal drops to join in on the latest trends, and this spring is no exception. And while denim is technically a "basic," Walmart's styles make basics feel anything but. With cool-girl silhouettes, my "jeans and a T-shirt" ensemble instantly feels more elevated.
Spring Styles to Snag
While I plan to update some spring classics, such as white-washed denim, I'm also excited to try out the styles I'm seeing on the streets. The NYC girls are still wearing barrel jeans, but I'm also noticing wide-leg jeans, darker washes, and more personality pieces, such as embroidered denim, trending for spring. Instead of trying to source all these styles from multiple retailers, I can add all of the above to my virtual cart thanks to Walmart.
