5 Hours Later, I'm Genuinely Shocked at How Many Elegant Items I Found on Amazon for Prime Day
To be real with you all, I'm not the biggest Amazon shopper. Some people I know spend hours scrolling through the retailer's app, scouring every crevice of its thousands and thousands of products in search of a steal. I respect it—I just don't often follow their lead. When Prime Day rolls around, however, I turn up my editor skills to maximum power to find the very best of what's being dramatically and temporarily red-marked. Shopping is my greatest skill and the area of focus that I'm most willing to put in the work for, so even if I'm not on Amazon 365 days a year, I'll score some elite deals. Even better, I'll share them.
I'm not always on the site, so when I went digging through the contents of the sale this year, I was noticeably shocked to find so many elegant fashion items. I usually think of Amazon Prime Day as being the perfect opportunity to stock up on household essentials, but no, you can also snag some seriously chic pieces for next to nothing during the markdown event. To prove it, I rounded up 28 elevated and sophisticated discoveries, all of which are just a scroll away. Enjoy.
Everybody needs one of these. Buy yours on sale before fall arrives.
You could wear this to an impromptu bistro dinner or a cocktail party and look perfectly glamorous and effortless at both.
A crisp white tee is at the core of every casual-elegant ensemble. Just make sure it's fresh (aka why I order these in bulk on Prime Day).
These aren't just any 501s. They have a fun yet understated silver stripe down both sides that makes them feel pricey and exciting.
When I was in Monaco last month, I saw brown slides like this *everywhere.*
A pop of red is always welcome in this household.
These chocolate-brown trousers are shockingly good, especially now that they're $84.
Every chic woman I saw on my last two trips to Europe was wearing white trousers like these.
I actually think this collarless alt to a standard poplin shirt is so much more refined and elevated.
There's nothing more elegant than walking miles in beautiful shoes without showing any signs of pain, which is exactly what you can do in Larroudé's shoes. They're so comfy.
A cashmere coat for less than $100? Don't let this deal pass you by.
I'm obsessed with this boxy, cropped fit. It's perfect for pairing with high-waisted jeans.
This sweater is giving Khaite on a budget. You know what to do.
More and more, fashion people are swapping in their denim shorts for classier versions like this that feature a longer inseam and flowier fit.
A black tank is the perfect partner for a fun midi skirt on a night out.
Wandler makes the most beautiful bags at a great price for the quality. It doesn't hurt that this one's majorly discounted either.
If you're traveling soon and hate showing up to the airport looking sloppy, these dark-brown knit pants are a perfect choice for your travel outfit.
This photo doesn't do this dress justice. The drop-waist detail is immaculate.
I own the Bottega version of these but secretly love to swap them out with more affordable pairs. They're precious, and honestly, people never notice.
This easy frock will go with any shoes, from flats to sandals.
Toss it over your shoulders whenever your outfit needs a little something.
