We're Swapping Our Jeans for These Comfortable Trousers
Whoever said style and comfort don't mix hasn't yet found elasticated trousers. If you prefer trousers over skirts, then trust us when we say this style is about to become your new go-to. Whether in the office or running errands, ease is key when it comes to summer styling, and elasticated trousers are super simple to style but still manage to look put together.
Our favourite brands have embraced this design detail in styles that work for all occasions. Linen trousers will see you through hot balmy days, especially in neutral tones that easily mix and match. A tailored pair is my work staple for an elevated look that I can comfortably sit in all day long. Style with a shirt and mules for a smarter look, or pair with a T-shirt and trainers if your office is more relaxed. Wide-leg styles are key for summer and look perfect sweeping over flat summer sandals. With full elastic waistbands, or just elastic details, there are so many ways to wear this comfortable style.
Keep reading for elasticated trousers in wide-leg styles, tapered cuts and an array of bold colours.
Pair with a plain tee for casual days, or elevate with a cut-out bodysuit.
The matching shirt makes for the perfect summer look.
A classic shape that is truly timeless.
These navy trousers are easy to dress up or down. Plus, the side slit is really chic.
The elastic detail is at the back, letting the tailored design remain the focal point.
