What to wear in October

So you know you want to do some shopping before October hits, but you're not sure where to start. How about Nordstrom, Amazon, H&M, and Shopbop? Ever heard of 'em? These very popular retailers are the first many of us turn to when a new season is starting and we realize we have "nothing to wear," so that's why I've been scouring them.

Fall officially starts on September 22 (finally, am I right?), but when I think of fall, I really think of October. The leaves will be changing, the humidity will be lifting (again, finally), and sweaters will be reappearing. It's a beautiful thing, and I'm ready for it. But I also didn't shop all that much last year, because there wasn't really anywhere to go. That's not so much the case this year, and I'm finding myself with an abundance of sweatsuits that I will wear but that I don't want to wear everywhere. Scroll to shop a few finds I'm eyeing from the always-reliable Nordstrom, Amazon, H&M, and Shopbop.

Shopbop

I added this to my cart immediately.

Can we just take a moment to admire these gorgeous mules?

Here you go: the perfect black jeans.

I just might have to swap my white tee for this one.

All this pretty dress needs is a pair of boots.

Hello, perfect Staud bag.

This buzzy new denim brand needs to be on your radar.

So many trends working in tandem.

H&M

A shacket in October feels so right.

I truly can't get over how expensive this looks.

An essential, if you ask me.

A blazer is the perfect October outerwear.

The buttons make this look expensive.

This fall-friendly print couldn't be prettier.

Amazon

When it's not quite cold enough for a full sweater yet.

I'm so impressed by this blazer.

Nordstrom

Behold the new Ugg It shoes.

These under-$100 gems will definitely sell out.

I love that this has slits and pockets.

Just think of how often you'll wear this in October.

This would look really chic with high-waisted jeans.
