My personal life motto is this: When you can't think of a good outfit, simply put a good coat over it. And let's face it. There's nothing quite as easy as a beige, oversize coat. Camel coats are known for their versatility, chicness, and oftentimes high price tags. While I'm the first to suggest splurging on an item you'll wear over and over in the name of sustainability, I'm also a fresh college graduate, meaning I can't always afford that $600 wool-blend coat my heart is set on.

For those who want to add a tried-and-true classic to their wardrobes, look no further than these 25 camel coats that look deliciously expensive without breaking the bank. Most of these are less expensive than my New York City electricity bill, which is saying something!
