Bumps? Breakouts? Rough Skin? Why This £15 Body Stick Is a Beauty Editor's Best-Kept Secret
The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick is the affordable beauty product we all swear by.

Now and then, a beauty product emerges that truly changes the game. I've been gatekeeping a particular product for a while now, but after telling my friends about it, they insisted that I write a review straight away. So, here I am, sharing one of my best-kept secrets, The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick.
This do-it-all miracle product is a must-know for those who suffer from rough skin, body breakouts, ingrown hairs or razor bumps. I've experienced all of these things over the years, but just assumed that they were the kind of skincare issues I'd have to live with. Not to mention the fact that I'd tried countless body washes and body creams that didn't seem to make any difference. But when I was introduced to this The Inkey List invention, I felt like I had found the answer to some of my most annoying beauty woes. It is, in my opinion, the closest thing to a body care miracle product
Below, I've shared all the information I want you to know about The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick, so I highly suggest that you keep scrolling.
The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick Review
The Formula
So, what's in this "miracle" stick? As the name suggests, this formula features 7% glycolic acid that works to exfoliate dead skin and make skin appear both smoother and brighter. Not only that, but it also contains salicylic acid, a hero ingredient to unclog pores and help fight those pesky breakouts.
Although this product is a chemical exfoliant, it actually doesn't feel drying thanks to the addition of shea butter. This ingredient nourishes and soothes the skin, meaning the product can be used on all skin types. That being said, if you do have sensitive skin, I recommend adding this to your routine slowly to see how your body reacts.
The Application
Whilst most chemical exfoliants, like this one, come in the form of a body wash or lotion, The Inkey List has designed a handy, rinse-free stick format, making it much easier to precisely apply the chemical exfoliant to specific areas of the skin and go about your day. It reminds me a lot of a roll-on deodorant, and I love that I can throw it in my gym bag or travel case whenever I need.
The Results
I like to use this product whenever I feel necessary, and apply it everywhere from my underarms, my legs, my elbows and even the heels of my feet. The lightweight formula glides on and absorbs in seconds, making it fuss-free and beginner-friendly. Like any skincare product, it's best to use it consistently in order to see results, but what I love about this formula is that it doesn't take long to start noticing a difference.
If I have dry, cracked skin on my elbows or feet, I notice that after just a couple of applications, the skin feels smoother and softer. While body breakouts can take a little longer to subside, the results are still very much worth it.
Another way in which I like to use it is by applying it to both my arms and legs to help get rid of those annoying bumps. It's also great on the underarms when suffering from ingrown hairs, but again, this can take a little longer to see results. The brand's top tips are to start applying it to the problem area two to three times a week to see how your skin gets on, and make sure to apply body SPF to any treated areas if you plan on going out into the sun after. Apart from that, I would say that this product is pretty foolproof and a worthwhile addition to anyone's daily beauty routine.
