I'm 32, and My Mum Is 58—We Both Swear By This Skincare Brand for Youthful-Looking Skin
Consider this your comprehensive guide to the best Trinny London skincare, whatever your age.
It's safe to say that pretty much every beauty lover knows about Trinny Woodall's best-selling makeup brand at this point. The foolproof, works-for-everyone makeup products have made waves for being simple but effective. So, when the brand launched skincare products, it majorly piqued my interest.
I was first introduced to the brand back in 2022 when it launched with a duo of face washes. The cleansers are designed to be used together for a double cleanse, but equally can be used separately depending on need—there's an oil-based balm cleanser which suits dry skin and an acid-based exfoliating gel for oilier skin types. It's this customisable, personalised approach that Trinny totally nailed with her makeup brand launch, and that makes it equally effortless to figure out a skincare routine that works for you.
For example, there are three types of exfoliant, each designed to address different concerns, and a duo of moisturisers (light and rich) which can be paired for day and night or chosen per skin type (oily or dry). In fact, it's so foolproof to build a skincare routine and figure out which products will work for you that even my mum—who has an incredibly low-maintenance approach to beauty—finds it easy to stick to her routine. She currently has a full line-up of Trinny skincare on her bathroom shelf, and her skin has never looked better for it.
Now with 15 products across eight categories, plus minis, sets and refills (all of the products are refillable), there's something for every skin type and concern. Furthermore, the products are packed with active and advanced skincare ingredients which help to deliver impressive results, particularly for signs of skin ageing in mature skin, like loose skin, pigmentation and fine lines.

1. Trinny London Better Off AHA/PHA Gel Cleanser
Key ingredients: Quillaja, lactic acid, malic acid, lactobionic acid, inulin
Most cleansers don't do much in the way of treating skin, but this one is packed with active ingredients that work hard to shift the buildup of dead skin, excess oil, sweat and makeup that accumulates. Expect skin to feel smoother and look brighter after use. I find it's perfect for a second cleanse in the evening.
Pros
- Deeply cleansing
Cons
- Not suitable for sensitive skin
2. Trinny London Plump Up Peptide + HA Serum
Key ingredients: Hexapeptide-9, oligopeptide-1, hyaluronic acid
Even though this serum is incredibly lightweight and fast to absorb, you'll be surprised by just how much moisture it can deliver; my skin feels instantly plumped and quenched when I've applied it. The star ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which works by drawing moisture deep into the skin.
Pros
- Instantly rehydrates skin
Cons
- Can feel a little sticky
3. Trinny London Bounce Back Intense Peptide Moisturiser
Key ingredients: Peptides, hyaluronic acid, squalane, oat lipids, phytophingosine, beta-glucan
Far more than "just a moisturiser", this formula is boosted with peptides to increase elasticity and firmness, phytophingosine to prevent collagen breakdown and beta-glucan to reduce skin stress. It's light in texture, and I love that it delivers an impressive instant glow.
Pros
- Sits well under makeup
Cons
- May not be moisturising enough for very dry skin
4. Trinny London See The Light Moisturiser SPF50+
Key ingredients: Raspberry leaf extract, camellia leaf extract
Pros
- Suitable for all skin tones
Cons
- Fragranced formula may not be suitable for very sensitive skin
This is my favourite product from the range. The texture is incredibly light and fresh, so it feels silky and soothing when you apply it, and it's also really hydrating. It utilises Korean UVA filters with an impressive PA++++ rating, UVB filters for top-tier SPF 50+ protection and antioxidants to protect against pollution.
5. Trinny London Elevator Photo-Peptide Concentrate
Key ingredients: Glycerin, jojoba, peptides
Pros
- Rich, nourishing formula
Cons
- May not be suitable for very sensitive skin
Old-school neck creams were essentially just thick-textured moisturisers, but this souped-up formula takes things to a whole new level. Credit lies with a supercharged peptide complex which works to smooth, firm and restructure skin for a visibly lifted and tightened effect. It's easy to see why this is a best-seller for the brand. Plus, it's such a treat to massage into skin at the end of the day.
6. Trinny London Overnight Clarity Retinal/Niacinamide Serum
Key ingredients: Niacinamide, NAD+, retinal, azelaic acid
If, like me, your skin is on the breakout-prone or congested side, reach for this. It targets texture, pigmentation and redness on the top layer of the skin with brightening azelaic acid and skin-renewing retinal to speed up the skin's process of cell renewal.
Pros
- Helps with congested skin and breakouts
Cons
- May stain pillowcases if used at night
7. Trinny London Overnight Sensation Retinal Serum
Key ingredients: Retinal, granactive retinoid, squalane, fatty acids
Pros
- Comes in refillable packaging
Cons
- Has an unpleasant smell
When a product garners rave reviews as this one does, you know there must be something special about it. The formula contains a next-generation granactive retinoid, a combination of nourishing hydrators, and lifting, firming ferments. My mum has been using this religiously, and her skin is noticeably smoother, brighter and more youthful in appearance.
8. Trinny London Take Back Time Eye Treatment
Key ingredients: Miniprotein, hyaluronic acid, hexapeptide-8, squalane, ashwagandha
Finding an eye cream that will appease someone in their 30s and their 50s is no mean feat, but Trinny London delivers with this hardworking formula that targets everything from puffiness and dark circles to fine lines and loss of elasticity. It has a luxurious creamy texture that works just as well at night as it does layered beneath makeup during the day, too, which makes it even more of a crowd pleaser.
Pros
- Smooths, de-puffs and brightens dark circles
Cons
- Need to use twice a day for long-term results
