Picture it: You and your best friends are getting ready in your apartment. You've slipped on a sequin minidress, makeup is strewn across your vanity, and your bubblegum-pop Y2K playlist (or your pre-party playlist of choice) is blasting from your phone speaker. It's official: Holiday party season is in full swing. I've been searching for some fresh makeup ideas for such occasions, and who better to ask than someone who lives and breathes nightlife? So, I called on Christa Eduafo, AKA DJ CHVMELEON—an NYC-based DJ, content creator, and social strategist—to give me some party-makeup inspo.
"My go-to makeup look is a natural beat or soft glam. Lots of blush, sharp liner, mascara, and a neutral lip combo," Eduafo tells me. "But the holidays are an excuse to get a little more colorful, glittery, and festive, so that's what I aimed for with this look."
While you might expect her high-performing makeup to have an equally high price tag, she revealed that her long-lasting, highly pigmented products are all $12 and under—and they're all from SHEGLAM.
"From the liquid shadow to the buttery blush stick, everything I used stands out on my deep skin tone and lasts all night, which is always what I look for," she gushes.

To start, she relies on a good primer to make sure her makeup doesn't budge throughout the night. And after topping off her foundation and concealer with the Insta-Ready Blur & Lift Setting Powder Duo ($9), it's all about the blush.
"I love a bright, ultra-pigmented cream blush," she says. "I've really gotten into using blush lately, and I'm not afraid to pile it on."
She also gave a hot tip if you want to subtly up your blush game: "I go back in with the setting powder to remove some of the shine and calm the brightness to get the perfect balance."
"You'll never catch me without a sharp, cat-eye liner," she says. "I'm obsessed with how pigmented the Pro-Precision Waterproof Liner is."
The glitz and glam of the season even inspired her to pick up a product she doesn't normally reach for: "I don't typically use eyeshadow, and the Airglow Eye Tint felt like the perfect glittery, festive touch to add to the look. For her lip combo, Eduafo got creative and put me onto my new favorite hack: "I used the Precision Sculpt Liquid Contour as a liquid lipstick," she explains. "I always pair a dark-chocolate lip liner with a neutral gloss. I feel it gives my lips dimension without being too high-maintenance throughout the night." We love a multitasking product! She finished the look off with a swipe of the Glass Lock Air Gloss in two different shades—Sepia Kiss and That's My Jam—for a hint of color that's completely unique to her.
