I Couldn't Imagine Going on Summer Vacation Without These 16 Beauty Items in My Travel Bag

At the end of 2025, I deemed 2026 my travel year. And now, with four countries and more than 20 flights under my belt, I know a thing or two about packing. I've mastered the art of packing the essentials while still being the maximalist that I am. And trust me—it is an art. My list of travel bag requirements is short and sweet: Every product must be used on the trip at least once, and every product must be under 3.4 ounces. Bloomingdale's provides not only the outfits I stuff into my luggage but also all the beauty products I need for a trip. Talk about a one-stop shop. I have another trip coming up, and I refuse to board my flight without the 16 items below. Keep scrolling for eye shadow palettes, moisturizers, lip gloss, SPF, dry shampoo, and more.
Makeup
My summer makeup routine consists of about five products and a prayer that they stay on all day despite the high temperatures. An SPF foundation that feels and looks more like a skin tint, paired with a blush stick that I can blend with my fingers, offers the perfect base. I like to top off my look with a light sweep of eye shadow on my lids and a hydrating lip oil.
Bodycare
I couldn't imagine going on summer vacation without a body glow routine. It's all about layering your products for a bronzed and glowy outcome. I'm using a mud mask for smoothness, Byredo body wash for hydration (the one product I'd check a bag for), Vacation SPF spray for protection, and Cartier perfume for an intoxicating scent, of course.
Haircare
I'll admit that the hardest thing to pack is my haircare. You never know what the weather will do to your tresses, so I always come prepared with an anti-humidity spray for obvious reasons, hair oil to combat any dryness, a dry shampoo that will get rid of any excess oil at the tail end of the trip, and a trusty hair perfume because your hair can never smell too good.
Skincare
Does anyone else struggle with cutting their 10-step skincare routine in half on vacation? As much as I hate skipping my oils and devices, my skin is still content with cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. The products below contain ingredients that fall into the top-tier category for skincare, so I know I'm in good hands regardless of where my plane lands.
