If you told me a year ago that I'd one day use the word "chic" in the same sentence with Banana Republic, J.Crew, and H&M, I'd have thought you were crazy. But after seeing It girls and the fashion crowd embrace all three retailers with open arms, posting unboxing videos on TikTok and sharing stylish Instagram pics, I decided to roll up my sleeves and do a deep dive through these classic mall brands. To my surprise, I found a plethora of chic items that looked way pricier than they were.
