I Think & Other Stories Is the Best Place to Find Wedding Guest Outfits
Finding an outfit for a wedding is one of those modern-day dilemmas that always ends up being so much harder than it should be. I had my brother's wedding last year, and I kid you not, I was hunting for an outfit for at least four months before I stumbled across the winning dress—and that's coming from someone who works in fashion.
After a quick survey of the Who What Wear office, however, the consensus was that there's one store, in particular, that seems to get it right in the wedding guest dressing stakes year after year. It is, of course, & Other Stories—aka the go-to for the discerning shopper on a budget. While the brand boasts an impressive basics edit and a penchant for oversize blazers, it's the occasion-wear that sets it apart from other high-street offerings.
Stories is known for its enviable year-round dress selection, and this season sees plenty of pretty puffed sleeves and pastel hues. Its suits are not to be sniffed at either. I have my eye on the brand's lilac two-piece skirt suit, which will look cute with pointed patent flats and contrasting clutch.
You can also get plenty of cost per wear from the beige iteration, which simply needs a chunky gold necklace, colour-pop bag and strappy sandals to go from work to wedding. Scroll down to see and shop my full edit of & Other Stories' wedding-ready looks.
