Amber Sceats Predicts 2016’s Biggest Jewellery Trends

Looking back at 2015, all I can remember is ear cuffs and fine, dainty jewels. But as we’re on the cusp of a new year, I’m starting to look at what we can expect to be wearing when the clock ticks over to 2016. A new season is exciting enough (I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve promised myself I’ll start trying X, Y or Z), but a new year brings with it more grand plans.

In 2016, I dare you to step outside of those classic pieces you wear every day and try something bold. We asked Amber Sceats to share what she thinks will be the biggest jewellery trends next year—so you can get ahead and start shopping now. Keep scrolling to see her predictions.

The new year is going to bring a lot of chunky and fine chokers—lots of sculpture and interesting designs. 2016 is set to bring the bling.

Another huge trend will be tassel jewellery, which I'm super excited for. We haven't seen a lot of great tassel accessories so I’m really eager to see what happens in this space.

Hoop earrings are my other big call—they’re definitely making a comeback… But not in the traditional sense. I.e. not JLo circa 2000, but hoop earrings with a cool twist.
