As far as influential designer brands go, Prada and its sister brand Miu Miu take the cake these days. Over the past several years, multiple trends were first spotted on Prada and Miu Miu runways, and this summer's trends are no exception. In fact, you may not even realize some of the trends you're already wearing were birthed by one or both of these brands.

I'm sure you didn't think I'd make the above statement without sharing the trends with you, and you would be correct. Below, I've highlighted some of summer's most prominent trends, all of which had a prime placement on the Prada and Miu Miu S/S 23 runways. Scroll to see the origins and shop both the designer and the more affordable versions of the cool summer trends you may already know and love.

Miu Miu and Prada's "pants-less" skirt look may leave you wondering where you'd wear such a look, but brands have interpreted the trend as miniskirts with a sheer layer of tulle over them. It's sheer styling made easy.
