From virtual events to intimate lunches with close friends, my spring calendar is slowly and surely on its way to getting booked up. Part of me still wants to spend 95% of my time indoors snuggled up in a sweatshirt for the rest of the foreseeable future, but the time has come to start wearing real clothes, and I'm on the hunt for fun and affordable options to take me through the season.

My friends, who have been my go-to's for spring inspiration, recently put together some of the chicest looks I've seen in a minute, and honestly, I still can't believe that they all hit the under-$250 mark. From how to incorporate a trendy touch to the virtual wedding I'm attending to packing a bag full of cool classics for a weekend away, I'm eyeing these four stylish looks all found at Macy's.

A Touch of Trend

If you're an avid reader of Who What Wear, you know cut-outs are a major trend of the season, and what better way to pull them off than by styling something like this dress for a dinner date with friends. Anneliese Dominguez suggests this tangerine version with a pair of white strappy heels, and I'm here for the sorbet tones.

Keeping It Casual

Kelsey Floyd is my resident loungewear girl, and I love the way she puts together ensembles that feel so effortless and cool. I have a few play-dates planned this season with friends I haven't seen in over a year, and a look like this easy cardigan-and-shorts combo is perfect for running around with toddlers but still looking as stylish as can be.

Bye, Beige

For something that requires a little more dressing up, like a small engagement party with close friends, I love a statement top and skirt combo à la Keyma Morgan. The style-setter has a knack for incorporating color into her wardrobe, and I'm taking cues by adding an interesting top with cut-out details and ruched sleeves to my spring wardrobe.

Cool Classics

I vowed to myself that if I am to wear pants this season, I'll try to think of outfits that steer clear of denim and maybe even dabble in a little floral print. A wide-leg pant situation (Natalie Cantell's go-to) is a classic way to pull off looking put-together but low-key.

Nayiri is Who What Wear's senior fashion editor for branded content and based in her hometown, Los Angeles. It all began in 2014 when she landed an internship at the company and never looked back. While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
