The Style Gospel: What Would Olivia Palermo Wear?
We’re down with OPP. Olivia “Perfection” Palermo, that is. Ok, while that’s probably not her middle name, our point is that we pretty much think Palermo can do no wrong, fashion-wise. From a Saturday shopping ensemble to covering up post-workout, she never hits a sour style note. Read on to see (and shop) for yourself.
Palermo turned heads at the Valentino haute couture show with her pro layering skills (white button-down + black strapless frock = truly show-stopping). Don’t be afraid to try this look at home!
Laced Strapless Dress ($415)
A minimalist, crisp white cover-up will have you made in the shade.
Keep your partner on their toes with sexy outfits that think out of the box. Here, Palermo steps out with fiancé, Johannes Huebl, in New York in leather shorts, a Rachel Zoe sleeveless coat, and Stuart Weitzman boots.
Reese Suede Knee Boot ($304) in Army
Take a cue from Palermo’s street-wise ensemble (Zara coat, Zara hightops, Givenchy Antigona Bag, $2,280) that's equal parts chic and comfy.
Don’t let a little snow dampen your style. Think big with faux fur accessories like a trapper hat and snow boots with pompoms.
One shouldn’t look too on trend or fussy. Palermo strikes a perfect balance of stylish and relaxed at the Tibi S/S 14 show last week in New York in a Tibi Intarisa Cotton and Modal-Blend Sweater ($250) and Hudson skinny crop jeans.
It can be tough to appear anything other than sweaty after an exercise session but Palermo looks relatively pulled together thanks to her Barbour Utility Jacket ($399).
Elliot Bay Jacket ($385) in Otter Green
Avoid looking too girly-girl cliché pairing the color with bold leopard print a la Palermo at the Valentino show last season.
