39 Nordstrom Buys That Have Spring 2024 Written All Over Them
Ready for some fresh Nordstrom buys? Over the past few weeks, I've done a ton of trend research for the year ahead, poring over the spring/summer 2024 collections, studying what designers like Gucci, Prada, and Bottega Veneta sent down their runways last month, and scanning my social media feeds to find out which looks people are talking about the most from fashion month. In other words, I have a pretty good idea of what's to come in fashion next season, and I plan on shopping accordingly.
Based on my findings, I've come to the conclusion that the 39 Nordstrom items you're about to see below—from the designer shoulder bag that will be the blueprint for every other trendy bag to the color that magically elevates anything and the fresh wardrobe basics that everyone will wear—qualify as some of the buzziest finds of the moment and will be important throughout 2024 as well. I'm particularly excited about each of these items, and I know you will be too.
Andiamo literally means "let's go" in Italian, and that's exactly the mood that many designers were in this season. They tapped into throw-it-all-in-and-go bags that are meant for the busy woman who does it all, so even though Bottega Veneta introduced this style last season, its relevance is only growing.
Yes, sheer dressing is still very much a thing for spring 2024, but this time, expect to see delicate see-through fabrics that are actually lined, making the most wearable iteration on the trend we've seen to date.
Thanks to the Prada runway, interest in canvas workwear jackets is spiking.
Tap into the "opposites attract" theme when you wear a delicate piece like this stunning embroidered skirt with something "ugly" like a utility jacket or plain sweatshirt.
This Miu Miu pair is obviously the goal, but even if you don't spring for a designer version, shop for a pair of kitten-heel slingbacks in a patent-leather finish.
Socks and heels can (and should) be worn together if the spring collections have anything to say about it.
Layer this underneath an oversize sweater in the same hue to mimic the styling in the Brandon Maxwell show.
Pairing pieces from opposing aesthetics—like these Matrix-esque boots with a utilitarian trench—is peak 2024.
Move over, fiery red—your successor, rich oxblood, has officially arrived.
Don't forget this dress shape. You're going to see a lot more of it.
I plan to re-create the entire outfit.
Calling it now: Bubble hems are about to make a huge comeback.
If the Mirror Palais S/S 24 runway is your goal aesthetic, you need these capri pants.
Did I just stumble upon the next viral Reformation piece?
We've seen endless new ways to tie our sweaters—over our shoulders, around our waists—and this spring is introducing another one: sleeves designed to be tied in a knot à la Proenza Schouler and Brandon Maxwell.
If it's an A-line silhouette, it's automatically on my spring shopping list.
Waist-defining details were all over the spring runways, and this Ganni blazer perfects the look.
Draping this beautiful deserves to be preserved for an eternity in a Greek goddess–like statue.
The trend that just might have you hitting pause on your leather jackets.
These are reminding me of the mesh flats that Proenza Schouler introduced this season.
Spring 2024's standout dresses are defined by beautiful corsetry and ultra-romantic silhouettes.
As the name suggests, this turtleneck is like hitting the easy button for tapping into the burgundy trend.
